Patient Spotlight

This month we want to recognize our spotlight patient: Kaden Pedaline!

Kaden has been working hard at Reach for Speech to help achieve his goals of improving flexibility, strength, and independence with standing and dressing. Kaden had back surgery that required him to decrease his activity level while healing. He returned to therapy after surgery ready to work hard! Kaden participated in the Intensive Strength Clinic, coming five times a week for three weeks to participate in both physical therapy and occupational therapy. Every day Kaden showed up with a smile, jokes, and jammed to classic rock music while getting his exercises complete! Kaden was able to increase his flexibility, improve his posture, increase control of his arms during dressing activities, and decrease how much assistance he needs for standing. Kaden is a testament to what hard work can do. We are extremely proud of Kaden and are excited to see what the future holds for him. Way to go Kaden!
