2026 Summer Groups at Reach for Speech

Our Summer Groups are back again this year! Have you signed your child up for these therapy groups focused on maintaining progress made during the school year through the summer months? We have options available for every age group and ability level.

Preschool Skills Group

Our preschool skills group is designed for children who are about to go into preschool for the first time or those who have completed some preschool but could use additional support with skills like transitioning between activities, following directions, and participating in group activities.

This group is currently running on Friday Mornings in Moon Township, and Wednesday and Thursday mornings in Center Township. More groups will be added based on demand and availability, including potential groups in our Robinson Township office.

AAC Social Group

This social group is designed specifically for children who use AAC Devices in their everyday life to communicate with peers. The goal in this group is to foster connection between children who share the experience of being an AAC user and build social skills that can be applied in a school setting!

Eating Explorers: Group Feeding Therapy

Do you have a picky eater, or a kiddo with sensory issues? We can help! Our expert Occupational and Speech Therapists can help with all varieties of feeding issues!

The Eating Explorers group helps turn the stressful task of trying new food into a fun social event, where peers can encourage and uplift each other. By fostering comradery and encouraging playfulness we how to make feeding FUN!

Our Eating Explorers group is billed through insurance. Continue through the registration process and we will reach out to schedule a Feeding Evaluation before placing your child into a group!

Friendship Foundations Social Group

Friendship Foundations is ideal for children who struggle with social interactions or making friends. Our Speech Therapists help facilitate conversation between peers allowing them to develop their understanding of social cues and the fundamentals of conversation.

Practicing social skills like inferencing, active listening, and asking questions can help a child better relate with their peers!

Tummy Time Social Group

Our Tummy Time Social group is held every month on the First Wednesday of the month from 10-11:00 in our Center Township Office. Under the guidance of our PT, Miss Kate, parents and guardians help their babies through Tummy Time exercises while sharing their experiences with having newborns!

This group is beneficial for both parents/guardians and baby, working on building babies’ strength to reach vital developmental milestones, and boosting parents’ confidence by providing them with resources, information, and connection to others in a similar season of life!
